Womankind Kenya Participates in COP30, Brazil

Womankind Kenya joined global climate justice advocates at the People’s March for Climate in Belém, Brazil, during COP30. The march brought together activists, Indigenous communities, women’s rights defenders, and environmental champions united by a common purpose: demanding urgent, people-centered action to protect our planet.

The event amplified powerful calls for climate justice, the protection of territories, and the defense of the Amazon, a critical ecosystem for global climate stability. Participants walked through key routes across Belém, demonstrating solidarity with vulnerable communities whose lives and livelihoods are most affected by the climate crisis.
